Security instructions, acknowledged before the next shift.
When a security instruction changes, every screener, patrol officer and pass office agent must know before they are next on duty. SkySign issues the change to the right teams, shows who has acknowledged it, and keeps a record you can show an auditor.

Before you issue
Decide what belongs in SkySign.
A document appears only in the lists of the people it is assigned to. File access, though, is controlled at organisation level: any active member of your organisation who has a document’s link can open it.
That suits instructions and notices meant for the whole security workforce. For restricted material that must stay with named individuals, check with your security manager first — or issue a short notice in SkySign saying the material has changed and where to read it under your existing controls.

Records
What each acknowledgement shows.
The statement accepted
Read-and-comply wording for instructions, briefing wording for notices, stored word for word.
Who, and how they signed in
The typed name, the account, and whether they used a password or Google.
When
A server timestamp, not the device’s clock.
Which file
The SHA-256 fingerprint of the document as issued.
A change, today
Brief a change before the next shift.
- 1Step 1
Issue it as urgent
Upload the instruction, choose read-and-comply, mark it urgent and set a due date. - 2Step 2
Add a short check
Add two or three questions on what changed, straight after issuing. - 3Step 3
Watch completion
See each team’s completion and the people still outstanding. - 4Step 4
Close it out
Nudge anyone outstanding and export the records for your quality file.
Worth knowing
- File access is scoped to your organisation, not restricted to the people a document is assigned to.
- There is no single sign-on yet: staff sign in with an email address and password or with Google. Multi-factor authentication is planned.
- The audit log records acknowledgements, manual reminders, document deletions and password resets, but not who opened a document.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can we restrict a document to named people only?
You can assign it to named people, and only they will see it in their lists. The file itself can be opened by any active member of your organisation who has its link.
Does SkySign log who opened a document?
No. It records acknowledgements, not views. Anyone who hasn’t acknowledged appears on the document’s unsigned list.
Is SkySign approved for regulated security training?
No. It records acknowledgement of instructions and notices. It doesn’t deliver or certify regulated security training.
