Solutions · Airlines

From head office to every station, with proof it landed.

Airline procedures change constantly: station bulletins, customer service policy, security notices, handling instructions. SkySign issues each one once to the station and department groups that need it, and shows who has acknowledged it, by group and by name.

Who it reaches

The airline teams that receive most notices.

Set up a group for each station and department, such as LHR Customer Service or MAN Station Operations, and every bulletin goes to exactly the people it applies to.

Why it’s hard today

Where airline notices go missing.

The bulletin is rarely the problem. The trail after it is.
Common gaps in airline notice distribution and how SkySign closes them
Where it breaksWhat usually happensWith SkySign
OutstationsThe bulletin goes to each station manager, who briefs the team and keeps a sheet — or doesn’t.Everyone in the station’s groups receives it directly and acknowledges it themselves.
Time zones and rest daysIssued at 09:00 at head office, while half the network is asleep or off.It waits at the top of each person’s list until they next sign in; the due date shows who is late.
RevisionsStaff sign an old copy; the auditor asks about the current one. Each record carries the SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact file issued, and a revision goes out as a new document.

Rollout

Start with one station, then add the network.

  1. 1
    Step 1

    Model one station

Create groups such as LHR Station Operations, LHR Customer Service and LHR Station Management, then import that station’s staff from a spreadsheet.
  2. 2
    Step 2

    Issue a live bulletin

Send a current bulletin with a due date and the briefing statement, and watch completion build by group.
  3. 3
    Step 3

    Compare and chase

Use group completion and the unsigned list to nudge the people who haven’t acknowledged.
  4. 4
    Step 4

    Add stations

Repeat the group pattern for each station, then issue network-wide notices once, to every group that needs them.

When an auditor asks

Station-by-station evidence on request.

For any document, administrators see completion for each group side by side, who has and hasn’t acknowledged, and when. The PDF report applies the document, department and date filters you choose and states them at the top, so the evidence you hand over matches the question asked.

Each record holds the exact statement the person accepted, the name they typed, a server timestamp and the document’s fingerprint. See every format on the sample audit report.

Worth knowing

  • SkySign doesn’t link separate companies’ accounts. The people you issue to must be users in your organisation.
  • It isn’t connected to crew rostering, crew notice or electronic flight bag systems.
  • Completion is shown per group; groups aren’t totalled into regions.
  • Administrators see the whole organisation; access can’t yet be limited to one station.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can we issue documents to a handling agent’s staff?

Only people who are users in your SkySign organisation can be sent documents. You could invite agent staff into your organisation, if your agreement with the agent allows it, or the agent can run its own SkySign organisation and send you its exported records. Separate organisations are never linked.

Can a station manager see only their own station?

Not yet. Employers and Superusers see the whole organisation. A station manager can focus on their own staff by filtering by group and by airport.

Do records from different time zones line up?

Yes. Each acknowledgement time is recorded by SkySign’s server rather than taken from the person’s device, so records from every station can be compared directly.

Can we try it with one station first?

Yes. A 14-day free trial is enough to set up one station’s groups and issue a live document. For a guided pilot, book a demo.
