Safety briefing software
An urgent safety notice, acknowledged across every shift.
When an incident or a hazard means everyone must know today, SkySign issues the notice straight away, puts it at the top of every affected person’s list, and shows who has acknowledged it, group by group, hour by hour.

Hour by hour
One urgent notice through a 24-hour operation.
- 06:10
Written
The safety manager writes a short notice, or uploads the bulletin, and chooses the briefing statement.
- 06:15
Issued as urgent
Sent to every affected station and department group, due the next day.
- 06:15
Everyone notified
Each person is emailed a direct link. The notice sits at the top of their list, marked urgent.
- 10:00
Completion checked
The document’s page shows completion for each group, so the slowest groups stand out.
- 10:05
Outstanding staff nudged
One click reminds everyone who hasn’t acknowledged. The nudge is written to the audit log.
- 22:00
Night shift catches up
Staff starting later find it waiting when they sign in.
- After the due date
Overdue flagged
Anyone still outstanding is flagged as overdue for their manager.
Three formats
The right format for the moment.
Short notice
A one-screen message, with an optional image, when a full document would slow things down.
Written bulletin
Headings, tables and images, written in the built-in editor.
PDF bulletin
The formal bulletin exactly as your safety department issued it.
After the event
What the record shows an investigator.
| Question | Answer from SkySign |
|---|---|
| Was the person briefed before the occurrence? | Their acknowledgement time, recorded by the server. |
| What exactly were they told? | The document’s fingerprint and the briefing statement they accepted. |
| Who wasn’t briefed? | The unsigned list for the notice. |
| Were they chased? | Manual nudges in the audit log, with who sent them and when. |
Briefings in person
After a toolbox talk or shift briefing.
Run the briefing as normal, then issue the briefing material in SkySign to the people who attended, or should have. Each person confirms “I confirm that I have received and understood this briefing.” on their own account, so the record shows who was briefed, not just who was in the room.
Nobody can acknowledge for someone else, so a supervisor can’t sign the sheet on the team’s behalf.

Worth knowing
- The urgent flag shows in each person’s list, not in the email.
- Notifications are by email. There are no text messages or app notifications.
- The scheduled reminder is sent once. Use manual nudges to chase again.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can we send the notice by text message?
No. SkySign notifies by email and lists the notice in each person’s documents. You can still mention it at briefings or in your usual channels, pointing people to SkySign.
Can we see who opened the notice but didn’t acknowledge it?
No. SkySign records acknowledgements, not views. Anyone who hasn’t acknowledged is on the unsigned list.
Can we withdraw a notice issued in error?
Deactivate it. It stops asking for acknowledgement and disappears from staff lists, and administrators keep any acknowledgements already made.
See an urgent notice go out and come back.
We’ll issue a sample safety notice and show acknowledgements arriving group by group.
