Send a message
For a short notice — a stand change, a temporary instruction, a reminder about a procedure — use Documents → Send Message. Give it a Subject and a Message (or an image), choose recipients, then Send message from the review screen. Staff acknowledge it the same way as a document.
Editor tips
- The toolbar has headings, bold and italic, lists and task lists, quotes, tables, links, images and YouTube embeds.
- Paste or drop an image straight into the text. Keep images small: the whole document, including images, must stay under 3 MB.
- AI offers writing help — improve, fix grammar, shorten, lengthen, more formal or casual, summarise, convert to bullets or continue — on up to 6,000 characters. Select the text you want changed first.
- Drafts save automatically every few seconds on your device.
How this differs from a PDF
Written documents and messages are fingerprinted with SHA-256 like PDFs — the fingerprint is taken from the text. Staff see them immediately, without the short pause a PDF has, and the title, date and author are shown at the top.
What this doesn’t do
- Editing a written document after issue does not change its fingerprint or ask anyone to acknowledge it again. Issue a changed procedure as a new document.
- The edit page offers basic formatting only; tables and images are best added before issue.
